Clover Caval (Cavalier Royale x Clover Hill)

Ballykett Blue Diamond, or "Beth", is the foundation broodmare for OFS. Beth's sire, Able Albert, has sired several international-level eventers, including Silver Surfer, Thin Ice, Peaceful Consort, Hugh Knows, and the Advanced eventer Willow Fairgreen Attraction. Beth's damsire, Diamond Lad, is well-regarded in Ireland as an excellent broodmare sire. He is the damsire of several international-level sport horses in both eventing and show jumping. Beth's dam, Ballykett Lass, also produced the successful show horse, Advance Party (by Big Sink Hope).

Beth has produced two foals for OFS thus far--The Cullinan Diamond (born prior to the addition of the OFS prefix), and OFS Amiro Blue. The Cullinan Diamond--aka Fionn--achieved first premium status in the eventing category of the BEF Futurity series every time entered, and was the highest evaluated yearling of the Plumpton Futurity, 2008. Fionn was also entered in the 2008 British Eventing Young Horse in-hand championships, and won the yearling class, sweeping the board with Best Yearling, Best Colt, and Best British-Bred. Sired by Caretino Glory, Fionn is being retained by OFS to pursue an eventing career, but will first be produced by Classictop Stud for in-hand sporthorse youngstock classes in 2010, his three-year old year. He is sure to be one to watch for the future.
