OFS Horses is pleased to announce that it has limited spaces available for broodmares, youngstock, rehabs or ridden horses to join us for stabled livery. Part livery includes 7-day per week care: stabling, daily turnout and in, basic grooming, rug changes, daily muck out, holding for vet/farrier, forage, bedding, and basic hard feeds as necessary. Weekly record of condition score, and digital updates (including photos) to your email inbox will be provided on request. Specialist facilities include foaling boxes, CCTV monitoring for foaling mares, and a post and rail nursery paddock. Facilities which will be installed later this stud season include examination stocks and an outdoor school. Excellent hacking is available direct onto bridleways, no roadwork necessary, and the South Downs are just a short hack away. We currently have three spaces available, please contact us to for more information. Please note that these part livery vacancies are "full care", barring exercise and tack cleaning!
Wormers, veterinary and farrier work will be billed separately by the service provider. Additional services may be available at extra charge--please contact us to discuss your requirements!
Care is provided by Amanda Bliss. Amanda holds a BSc (Hons) in Equine Sports Performance, awarded by Plumpton College, and has a special interest in equine reproduction and stud management. She is employed part-time as the laboratory manager for Hobgoblins Stud Equine Reproduction Centre. This will be her fourth stud season at Hobgoblins, and she has gained invaluable experience from her employment.
Because OFS is primarily a broodmare facility, liveries will be required to provide negative blood tests for EVA and EIA prior to entry.
Please contact us via the contact page, or phone Amanda at 07948 836146 for an informal chat to discuss your requirements, or to make an appointment to view the facilities.
